Clash Royale is a strategic mobile game in which you can use different cards to destroy the opponent’s towers. As you climb the ladder, you will be placed against some very good players and the game will become increasingly difficult. So, it is best to take your time and improve your deck before you try to push ranks in the arena. That way you won’t get overwhelmed once you reach a higher rank.
Some of the older players have recently been thinking about creating a new account and starting the game from level 1. Let’s go over whether or not you can do that in Clash Royale.
How To Restart in Clash Royale?
The account data that is linked with a particular account cannot be reset. Meaning that if you’ve linked your Clash Royale progress with your google account then that game progress will remain synced to your Google account.
There are a few ways that can be utilized to restart Clash Royale but you still won’t be able to reset the progress saved on a particular account. You still have the option of deleting your account from the game after contacting Supercell but you won’t be able to reset progress on the same account.
Resetting Progress in Clash Royale
However, if you don’t have your progress with your Google or Game Center account then restarting Clash Royale becomes quite easy. You will just need to delete the application data and then launch the application and it will start from the beginning.
You won’t be able to access any of the old data and the game will reset to level 1. You just need to go into application settings and then browse to Clash Royale. From the app storage options, you will click on the ‘Clear App Data” and that will remove all your progress from the game.
Now you will be able to start from scratch and work your way up the ladder. It can still be a huge waste of time to grind through all of the ranks again. But if you’re sure you want to do that and don’t have a Google or Game Center account linked with your app then you will be able to restart progress by resetting the application data.
However, it is quite rare as the majority of users have either their Supercell ID or their game accounts linked with Clash Royale.
If you’re in the same boat then the only thing that can be done is to make a fresh account and then link your progress with that new account. That way your old progress will remain in the previous account and you will be able to start from the beginning on this new account. You can cycle through both accounts quite easily from the in-game settings.
Just disconnect the current account and then try to link a different account to the game. Clash Royale will load the progress of that new account and your game will restart.
Another method that can be used is to use applications that allow you to create multiple instances of other applications. That way you can use the cloner to make additional Clash Royale games on your smartphone. The new application will start from level 1 and you can even link a different account with this app to secure your progress. That way even if the application files corrupt, you will still have access to all of the cards that you collected on the new account.
No method can help you restart Clash Royale on the same account. The progress is linked with your game accounts and when you log into the game, the game continues from where you left off. If you want to start the game from the beginning then it would be best to make a new account and start grinding.
That way your old progress won’t go anywhere and you can cycle through the accounts depending upon which kind of cards you want to use. You can also help the new account by donating rare cards to it from the older account after joining the same clan.
Resetting game progress isn’t possible on the same account but you can still try your luck with the SuperCell support to see if they can help you. Submit a support ticket and ask them to reset the progress of your account. Make sure to provide them with account details like experience level and username. Then wait for their response to see if they are willing to help you.
