How to Restart Mission in Red Dead Redemption 2?
There are two main ways to restart the mission you’re currently playing in Red Dead Redemption 2. The most common and convenient method of all is to go to the log. This refers to the mission log in the pause where all information regarding the current mission and its events is stored.
Once this is open, press the mission button and then simply hold the assigned button to restart the mission. Once players have held the button for a few seconds, a confirmation message will pop up. If you’re sure restarting the mission is the only option, press yes and the current quest will begin right from the beginning.
There is another option too, one that is much less conventional but just as easy to try in most cases. This simply requires you to kill your character in the game somehow. Try to use your own explosives to blow Arthur up or jump right in front of enemies so that they can kill him instead.
Either way, once you die, there will be an option to either restart from the last checkpoint or to restart the mission from the beginning. Choose the latter option and then press yes on the confirmation message, after which the mission will be restarted.
