World of Warcraft has pets in the game which are more than just a means of providing your character with a little bit of company. These creatures can aid you in combat and come in very handy during specific situations.
They’re a vital part of the game at times and there are even entire quests that are based entirely around them. One of these quests which require pets to complete is the Snowfeather Team-Up, which we’ll be discussing more today.
If you can’t get this quest to function properly, here are some of the best solutions which we can recommend you try out.
How to Fix Snowfeather Team Up Not Working?
- Make Sure Your Pet Stays Alive
The first thing you need to know about this specific mission in WoW is that it requires you to complete multiple world battles with your pet. But what you also need to know is that said pet must also stay alive at all costs after being hatched, as the quest will basically fail once the pet dies.
This entire mission is about clearing out some encounters with your hatched pet and its death will result in the game making you fail. If your pet has already died, the quest will no longer work further. Abandon it and then spawn another hatchling. Your main goal this time around will be to ensure that it doesn’t die while you clear out the encounters.
One thing about this which most players don’t know is that the hatchling doesn’t actually have to fight with you during the encounters. It still needs to be summoned and in the world while the quest is being completed, but not necessarily a big part of the fight. That said, just ensure that it is around during the time when Snowfeather Team Up is being completed, and that will be enough to solve the problem.
- Non-Combat Pet
For the pet battles to be actually counted as such, players cannot spawn it as a battle pet during the encountering. Instead, they actually need to have it spawned before this. Whenever you’re about to enter a world battle, make sure that you spawn the pet beforehand as a non-combat pet. The next thing which was also mentioned previously is ensuring that the player’s pet will make it out of the encounter alive.
Once both of these things are ensured to have been done correctly by the player, there should be nothing stopping them from getting the Snowfeather Team Up to work as it should and for the quest to finally end.
- Add-on Troubles
If neither of the previous solutions seemed to have fixed the problem, then there’s a problem with World of Warcraft itself. It is likely that this problem is being caused by add-ons that you’ve installed on your device, specifically those related to pets. Disable these for a while and try Snowfeather Team Up again. It should now work as it’s intended to.
