How to Fix Razer Naga Chroma Freezing?
- Run Synapse as Administrator
Most often than not this issue is caused by the synapse itself, in which case you should go into your program files and run the .exe file as administrator. First, navigate to your synapse installation folder which will be in your C drive. From there find the RzSynapse.exe file and right-click it. After that click on properties and go to the compatibility settings from the top bar.
There you will find the “run this program as an administrator” option. Check the box right next to it and apply the settings. After that restart your computer system once and try using the mouse again after the synapse launches.
- Use a Different Port

- Clean the Mouse Sensor

This is why it is highly recommended that you clean your mouse sensor at least once each month.
This will ensure that your device keeps working in optimal condition. You can use a q tip or a microfiber cloth and gently wipe it over the sensor to remove any residue build-up. - Surface Calibration
Another possible fix for this issue is resetting the surface calibration settings. Surface calibration determines at which altitude do sensors stop registering the movement of the mouse. You can easily fix this by placing your mouse on a smooth surface and then holding down the left and right-click buttons for around 10 seconds and then going into synapse to reset the calibration.
- Update/Reinstall Driver
Usually, this is just a minor bug in the mouse driver that you can fix by updating the mouse drivers or reinstalling them altogether. First of all, go into your device manager and try updating the mouse drivers. After the update restarts your computer system once and then try using your mouse to check if your issue is fixed.
On the off chance, if the issue persists then the only option, you’re left with is uninstalling the mouse drivers altogether. Once that is done reboot your computer again and then fresh install the Razer mouse drivers. That should probably fix the issue for you.
