The second boss in Mogu’shan vaults is Feng the Accursed, he can prove to be quite a challenge for inexperienced players to beat. If you’re tank then you shouldn’t have too much trouble dealing with him solo but that also depends upon how you’re geared. If you’re having issues in getting Feng to spawn then here are a few fixes you can follow.
Mogu’shan Vaults Feng Not Spawning in WoW
- Destroy the Statues
After killing the first boss called the Stone Guard, you will find two statues that you have to destroy. Destroying these statues will release a ghost that will spawn more statues. After you destroy all these statues Feng’s soul will release and you can start taking him down. The most probable cause for Mogu’shan Vaults Feng Not Spawning is that people do not clear the trash between the Stone Guard and him.
It is very easy to pass these statues without triggering a fight. This is why most people are having trouble in getting Feng to spawn as they skip the statues which in turn does not release Feng’s soul. So, make sure to clean all trash in between the first boss and Feng to get him to spawn.
- Reset the Mogu’shan Raid
It can be highly likely that your raid is bugged which is why Feng is not spawning for you. You can try resetting the raid and starting from the beginning. Resetting an instance can feel quite annoying but it is still better than waiting a long time for the bug to fix itself. Resetting the instance will respawn all the mobs and you will have to wipe them again. You can also try recreating the party to check if that fixes the problem for you.
- Restart Your Client
If you’re going solo into this raid and resetting the instance does not fix the issue for you then you should try restarting the blizzard client. Just quit the game and exit out the blizzard client. After 30 seconds or so start the client again and log into your account. When you start the Mogu’shan raid again you shouldn’t face any issue in getting Feng to spawn.

If none of the fixes seem to be working for you then you should get into contact with blizzard support. Go to the support forums and open a thread regarding your issue. This enables other players with similar issues to help you in resolving this issue. The Blizzard team is very responsive and will help you sort out this bug in no time. So, make sure to get in contact with the support team and make them aware of your issue.
The most common issue however was that people were not clearing the trash between the first and the second boss that stopped the soul of Feng from spawning. So, you need to make sure you destroy all the statues in between the stone guard and Feng, and you won’t be facing any issues in getting Feng the Accursed to spawn.
