One of the most popular times in WoW which everyone is usually at least a little excited for is Timewalking. These are events that allow players to clear out older dungeons which in turn gives them rewards.
These rewards also include badges that can be used at specific vendors for all kinds of unique and great items which you usually wouldn’t be able to find elsewhere in the game. One of the many vendors that are associated with the Timewalking event is none other than Kiatke.
Who is Kiatke?
Little is known about Kiatke herself in terms of overall lore. She is simply a level 40 Timewalking vendor in WoW that has some great offers in store for players as long as they’ve got the right amount of badges to exchange with her.
If you’ve been playing WoW for a while now and are after some of the items that Kiatke sells but can’t seem to get her to show up anywhere, there’s evidently a problem. With that said, here are a few reasons why such a problem occurs, accompanied by a few solutions which can help one fix the issue.
Why Is Kiatke Not There In WoW? – Reasons and Solutions
The main reason for Kiatke not being there in World of Warcraft is that it simply is not the right time for her to be there. Kiatke is only available to exchange items during Timewalking events. To specify things even further, she can only be found during the Cataclysm Timewalking events, and will not be available anywhere at all during times outside of the said event.
That said, the main solution is obviously to wait for the previously mentioned event to start so that she can show up. Kiatke will be at her predetermined locations for the entire duration of this, from start to finish. She will even be available to exchange items for exactly 24 hours after the Cataclysm Timewalking period has ended.
Another reason why Kiatke may not be there is that you’re searching in the wrong place. She is only available in one specific location in all of the realms, and this location differs depending upon your allegiance to a specific faction. For example, she’ll be nearby all of the Cataclysm portals if you’re a member of the Alliance. However, she will be near the Earthshrine Portals if you’re one with the Horde.
If you’ve made sure that the right event is active and that you’re looking in the right locations for Kiatke but she still isn’t there, only one last reason remains. The vendor has a level limit, only being available to those that are over level 86.
If a player is under this, they will not be able to get access to Kiatke and will not be able to see her either, making this another common cause for this problem. The solution is pretty easy to guess, as the only course of action is to reach the appropriate level.
