Warrior and Paladin are both extremely fun classes to play. Both of these classes have flashy abilities and can perform quite well in the end game content. However, there are a few differences regarding the skill rotation and viability in the current meta of the game.

Warrior vs Paladin

Warrior

Warrior is one of the most common classes across all MMORPGs. In the world of warcraft, a warrior has three specs. Arms in which you use a two-handed weapon to deal damage, Next, we have protection warrior that is the tanking spec with a weapon and a shield and lastly, we have fury spec in which we use 2 two-handed weapons to dish out some insane damage if your gear is good enough.

Out of all these specs, the community loves protection warriors the most. It can prove to be an amazing tank due to its critical block ability. It is easier to get accepted as a protection warrior for raids. The rotations are extremely fun and relatively easier to get down. As far as the other two specs are concerned it is hard for fury warriors or arms warriors to get invited for end game content as DPS. The numbers are just not that good.

Unless you are super skilled and are using efficient skill rotations, it can prove to be very hard to deal a good amount of damage. This is why most people just stick to protection warrior spec. If you are just trying to play the game casually then Fury and Arms specs can prove to be quite fun. They can deal a decent AoE damage and cleave. The self-sustain for warrior arms spec is very helpful for winning PvP fights.

Paladin

Paladin also has 3 specs that can fill up DPS, Tank, and healer roles. It can be a great choice for you if you were thinking of changing your role later in the game. Paladins have heavy armor and can be quite tanky making them viable in all 3 roles.

The first spec is protection which is the tanking spec that uses a weapon and a shield to withstand a huge amount of damage. Next, we have the holy spec which is the healing spec that uses the holy power in-game to heal your allies.  Lastly, we have a retribution spec that is a DPS spec in which you use a two-handed weapon along with your holy powers to kill your enemies.

Paladin is an incredibly fun class to play with it being viable in also the end game content. It also doesn’t take much time for Paladins to get invited for raids. Paladin is one of those classes that can impact the success or failure of a raid to great extent.

Paladin is multifunctional, even as a tank you can deal a decent amount of damage and support your team. Even if your healer dies you can keep the party alive for some time using the Word of Glory. It is one of the best classes to start with.
