It helps the mouse to have more accuracy, precision, and sensitivity. Although it depends on the mouse, the sensitivity rate can be as high as 26,000 DPI, and as low as 100 DPI. Now the question is: How to change DPI on Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed? This can be done manually or via Razer Synapse 3.

How the Dots per inch (DPI) Can Be Changed Easily:
- On the backside of the scroll wheel, there is a DPI button to check for it.
- Decrease, cycle, or increase through different DPI stages while using the sensitivity buttons of the mouse:
For Dual Sensitivity of Buttons:
- Click repeatedly on the first button, which is the sensitivity up button from the scroll to increase the DPI. Keep on clicking until the desired sensitivity is reached.
- The second button is the sensitivity down button click on it alternatively with the sensitivity up button to decrease the DPI settings.
For Single Sensitivity of Buttons:
- Using the cycle button click on it repeatedly to cycle up until the desired sensitivity is reached.
How to change DPI on Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed using Razer Synapse can be done using the DPI settings, which can be configured using Sensitivity Stages or Sensitivity Sliders. Following are the steps:
Sensitivity Stages:
- Open the Razor Synapse on your computer and click on the mouse button.
- Then go to the “PERFORMANCE” tab.
- There you will see a heading stating “Sensitivity Stages” toggle it to turn it on.
- Now select the number of sensitivity stages you prefer (This is right beside the toggle button you already turned on).
- Then select the stage out of five stages that you want to apply.
- Now if you are interested in a specific DPI stage that you are interested in then key in the DPI stage.
- With this, your DPI settings can be completed.
Sensitivity Sliders:
- Click on the mouse once Razor Synapse is opened.
- Then go to the “PERFORMANCE” tab.
- Click and drag the sensitivity slider -at the bottom of the screen- to your desired DPI level.
- Now if you want to have different DPI levels for the horizontal (X) and vertical movement (Y), only then proceed to the next step.
- Click on the “Enable X-Y”-which is on the left bottom of the screen- so that X and Y sliders are enabled.
