A stretched screen was immensely popular in chapter 1 of Fortnite but made it unfair to play against another player, hence it was removed. Recently it has been brought back in a way that makes it seem like a bug. Since you have to change the dynamics of the game in the game settings outside the platform, which may be termed illegal.
How To Fix Fortnite Stretched Resolution Not Working?
1. Faulty Screen Settings
The Fortnite stretched resolution not working is probably related to the modern screens. This will probably affect all the computer functionality as you struggle to travel from one location to another. Nevertheless, the screen has been stretched and it is difficult to view the required section. This, however, can be easily repaired by selecting the screen settings button on the external side of the monitor and changing the aspect ratios or screen resolution. This will vary from person to person, but the end goal is to reduce the stretching of the screen.
2. Screen Resolution Bug
When the Fortnite stretched, the resolution not working issue came up. It became a sensation, and it was a bug in the first place. The process is simple; you must go into the “Game user settings” in documents of the Fortnite game. Then you must open the local app data and click on the notepad. Click on the save button and shut down the computer after you have saved and closed the notepad. The next thing to do is to restart the computer and wait for the game to launch. If this was done correctly, then Fortnite should launch in stretched mode making the gameplay even more fun.
5. Graphics Card is Not Working Properly
If you cannot see the stretched screen even after applying all the changes, then the graphic card might malfunction, or it might even be outdated. Therefore, it is requested to go to the graphics card control engine and update the software to make it easy for further functioning. If the card is malfunctioning then you are likely to see glitches in other things as well.
