Forza Motorsport is a racing game that works only on Xbox Series X|S and PC. This title is the eighth part of the Forza Motorsport series, simply named Forza Motorsport instead of Forza Motorsport 8. It marks the first arrival in the Motorsport line after Forza Motorsport 7 from 2017 when several Forza Horizon titles covered the time gap between the main releases.
Turn 10 Studios form the core center of the whole series. The studio in Redmond led the development since 2001. It belongs to Xbox Game Studios and created the Forza brand.

Players can gather and use more than 500 cars from the real world. Among them more than 100 are new for Forza Motorsport, and the list carries the most recent downloads that the series ever showed. Also, there are more than 800 improvements for performance.
Car points no longer mattre like this a lot. By means of credits one buys the changes, so cars one adjusts freely, just as in the other Forza games.
The game offers 30 live courses with various versions. Among the favorites of fans are Fujimi Kaido, Nürburgring Nordschleife and Sunsea Peninsula. Every course has details in life on the weigh, fully dynamic day with weather and separate settings for drive.
Because of that no two laps feel the same in look or play. Only Fujimi Kaido has 144 sharp curved parts during 16,5 kilometers of winding Japanese mountain ways.
The game right away pulls the players into the action on the track. It puts you behind the wheel of the 2024 Corvette E-Ray at Maple Valley Raceway, which recalls the oldest made-up course of the series. The images well show how much effort went into the visuals of the game.
Compared to the Horizon games, that give more arcade-style experience of drive, Forza Motorsport stays a real simulator for tracks. There are no big jumps, no crazy flights and no flying Hot Wheels ways. That simulator focuses mainly on vehicles from the professional motorsport world, more like Gran Turismo or Project CARS.
The single-player mode carries car building in the career way of Builder. For several players there are Car Mode Day and Drivatar Meets, where one candrive together with friends.
Turn 10 confirmed that no further updates with new content are planned. No new car, course, mode or regular free goals will arrive, but the servers stay online. The game still has active campaign and multiplayer from a reliable studio.
The 20th Season Update marked the twenty-year anniversary of Forza Motorsport and added a new Season Journey with special prizes.
