That screen number can be deceiving. Remember: Actions per minute (APM) shows mechanical noise, not strategic signal. That might make your raw score look great, but half of those clicks was probably frenetic spasms of your finger hitting the space bar over and over again, or repeatedly selecting a worker who’s already selected.

Why Clicking Fast Is Not Good Enough

Most people think they are multitasking efficienty, but in reality, they are actually zoning out for two second intervals while waiting for a unit to finish training.
