The Pathfinder: Kingmaker character planner allows you to plan how your character will grow over twenty level. Since the choices you make in the early stage of your character will determine there capability during the campaign, it is essential to consider how your character will grow over time. The character planner allows you to test out various race and classes for your character.

You can also use it to calculate your attack bonus and saving throws from your ability score. Additionally, the character planner will calculate the total number of skill point your character will have given their intelligence score. Many people make the mistake of discovering too late in the game that their paladin are missing key feats or that their wizard is struggling to reach the save DCs required to defend themself from enemy.

Plan Your Pathfinder: Kingmaker Character

However, the character planner will allow you to avoid such mistake. Your character scores is essential to character creation. You have twenty-five point to distribute among your scores.

However, increasing one score from ten to sixteen will cost you ten points. Since you only have a limited amount of points, you must decide which scores are more important for your class. For instance, a fighter will need strength and constitution score for the same reason that a fighter gains constitution scores from constitution attributes.

The character planner will show you your scores and the bonus attribute that your race provides to your scores. For instance, races like human and half-elf provide a bonus to one of your score. One point to any score will provide a change from a sixteen to an eighteen score at the start of level one for your character, and the bonus will continue to grow with your level.

Your class will play a significant role in your game. Your class will determine your character’s development throughout the game. Classes that has the full base attack bonus will provide one point to your attack bonus each level; however, classes such as wizard will only give half a point each level.

The character planner will calculate the base attack bonus for you at any level that you would like to view your character’s stats at. Your character’s classes will determine your saving throws and their progression. For instance, clerics will have strong saves against fortitude and will damage; however, clerics will have a weak reflex save unless they have a high dexterity score.

The character planner will automatically calculate these stats for you once you have select a class and level for your character. Your race bonus will interact with your scores and your class. People easily overlook these bonuses when creating your character.

For instance, an elf wizard will have bonuses to both dexterity and intelligence scores. These scores will provide benefits to the wizard’s initiative, armor class, and the number of skill points they gain per level. A dwarf cleric will receive bonuses to the constitution and wisdom scores, which will increase their hit point and spell DCs.

These bonuses will change the statistics that your character planner calculates. The process of allocating skills to your character is where many character build fail. Your intelligence score determines the skill points that you allocate to your character.

Classes with low intelligence scores will start with few skill points. For instance, fighters with low intelligence scores will not have enough skill point to develop ranks in skills like perception or athletics. The character planner will show you the total number of skill points that you will have at your next level.

This will allow you to decide if your intelligence score deserves as much investment as your primary attack score. Your feat will also provide value to your character. The character planner will allow you to visualize your feats.

Characters receive one feat at level one and then every two levels thereafter. Additionally, classes and races may provide bonus feat for players to select. Choosing the power attack feat will benefit characters with high strength scores.

Weapon finesse will only provide benefit to characters with high dexterity scores. The character planner will allow you to visualize the benefit that each of these feat will have on your character. Many mistake occur when players do not treat their ability scores as part of the overall game.

For instance, players may think that lowering their charisma score is not a concern since they are not a spellcasting caster. However, their character will struggle in social situation. Similarly, players might ignore the constitution score for a character with a full base attack bonus.

The additional attacks will mean nothing if the character die in the first combat encounter. The character planner will show you the value of each score before you design your character. The best character build will remain strong at level twelve and level eighteen.

To create such a character, you must consider how each of your stats will scale. The character planner will calculate this for you. All you have to do is decide what type of hero you want to bring into the Lands of Stolen.
