Paragon-levels show in some games, but they truly belong with Devil III. When you reach the maximum level, 60 or 70 with the DLC. Here start the paragon-progress.
Paragon Levels in Diablo 3, Diablo 4 and Bloons TD 6
Every new paragon-level gives you a tiny prize, that you choose. With every level you receive spots, that you spread through four cycling categories, one for each in the cycle. No limit exists about the number of paragon-levels, that you can reach.
The mechanism simply lasts forever.
To reach every paragon-level needs 3,5 millions of SP. You get that experience by killing monsters, and truly, how far your player can push in Bigger Rifts depends on your run. The community observed players, that reached more than 10 000 paragon-levels.
Theoretically, the real cap probably sits in data storage (maybe it reaches 2),1 bilion, if it stored as a 32-bit marked integer.
Devil 4 works a bit differently. The Paragon-Board unlocks at level 50, where the first 49 levels must build up skills and passive traits. In paragon 225 or later, you usually unlock the most important knots in your boards.
After 200 levels, the progress slows a lot. Even so, SP-bags, incense and stacking season-rewards can help you a lot. Farming of the Cavity is the fastest weigh to win levels.
Interesting is, that fast Cavity 100 in 90 seconds gives just as much experience as Cavity 145 in two minutes. Fast strategies always beat slow ones. Because the SP-demands grow fast, the half between 200 and 300 happens close to paragon 280.
Above paragon 275, many builds hit a wall, where the blue magic knots have no more value. Some players simply dump that in the bucket. If you aim to reach paragon 300 before the end of the season, you must prepare yourself forreal farming.
Paragon towers also appear in Bloons TD 6, where people call them Tier 6 or 5-5-5 towers. They dropped in Version 27.0 together with Boss Bloons, acting as super strong upgrades like the Vengeful Real Sun-God. Four things determine the grade of paragon: buy price, total split, amount of tier-5 towers that you banked, and non-tier-5 upgrades.
In normal game, the maximum grade reaches around 76, unless you use strong totems or extra events. Rise to grade 100 is possible. Without Paragon-Mighty Totems even so, for grade 100 needs teamwork, because you need extra tier-5 towers from partners.
Without any help, the rest stays around 91.
