🧙 MapleStory Stat Calculator

Plan AP, compare stat splits, and reverse solve the points needed for your next bossing or training target.

📋Quick Presets
Calculator Inputs
Use the class selector to match your stat pair. The calculator treats primary stat as the main growth pool and secondary stat as the support pool.
Level drives the AP budget: each level grants 5 AP.
STR main / DEX secondary, with a 4:1 score weight.
Your raw stat before AP, gear flats, and % bonuses.
Secondary stat usually stays smaller, but it still matters.
Points assigned directly into the main stat pool.
Use this when your class needs a stronger support stat.
Gear, set effects, links, and passive stat all stack here.
Secondary stat gains from gear are easy to overlook.
This is the main stat % on your build, familiars, and flames.
All stat % applies to both pools and boosts hybrid scaling.
Add event AP, extra rewards, or saved points here.
Back solving tells you how much more AP you need.

Tip: Keep AP spending ahead of your level curve so you do not end up with a large leftover pool.
Tip: If you use a hybrid class, test both stat splits and compare the effective score before locking in gear.

MapleStory is the first side-scrolling MMORPG, in that players choose from more than 50 customizable classes to save the world from the bad Black Mage Understanding stats is important for getting stronger in that game.

Statistics of character, or simply stats, form the base of your character. In the game happen four main stats: STR (Strength), DEX (Dexterity), INT (Intelligence) and LUK (Luck). They decide attack, defense and chance of critical hits.

MapleStory Stats and How Damage Works

When the game mentions “all stats”, it means only STR, DEX, INT and LUK, nothing more.

AP is points for abilities, that you receive at every level up. They help to raise basic stats as STR, DEX, INT or LUK, as well as maximum HP and MP. No more rolling for stats, and you can not put points in useless stats.

New character starts with 12/5/4/4, and there is automatic button, that assigns stats automatically. After getting of the first job, stats restart and get put in the right place.

For warriors the most important stat is STR, because 1 STR gives 1 attack. At thieves it is LUK. MapleStory stays relatively simple regarding stats.

The calculation of damage seems hard, but really it’s simple. The main stat value is main stat times four plus the second stat, everything multiplied by 0.01. ATT shows the whole attack of gear and buff skills.

Percent ATT multiplies directly the real ATT, that adds up from all flat lines on gear and weapons. Together with main and second stat, that decides the damage in the game.

Damage of one hit is the range of damage multiplied by percentage of skill. For instance, if the window shows 2000 to 3000 and skill hits in 150%, hits fall between 3000 and 4500, after taking away hostile defense.

Priority of stats usually are: first 100% critical rate, later critical damage, then ATT%, 97% IED, boss damage, damage%, main stat%, flat attack and finally flat main stat. At same potential level main stat% beat all stats%. So in epic rank you can have 6% STR, but only 3% all stats.

Except the four basic stats, MapleStory has many others, that change gameplay: speed, jump, attack speed, resistance against statuses, against knockback and critical rate. 17-stars and 2-line stats on gear is only step for mid game content. Players always work on 22-stars and 3-line stats, to beat harder bosses.

Late game progress brings more random variety, so distribution of stats between players becomes broader in higher levels.
