Lost ARK is arguably one of the most engaging MMO options that you’ll find on the market. Players can’t seem to get enough of this game, and it maintains a decent population that is comparable to BDO and WoW. So, if you’re looking for great graphics and incredible fight mechanics, going with Lost ARK might be the perfect choice for you.
The only issue that annoys some players is that sometimes the audio will be bugged. Luckily, it is not that hard to fix this minor bug, and here are some methods to help you along your troubleshooting journey.
How to Fix Lost ARK Audio Issues?
- Check Volume Mixer
The first thing you should do is to open up the volume mixer by tabbing out of the game and right-clicking on the speaker icon. From there, you can easily select the volume mixer option. It will only take a second, and you need to make sure that the volume for your game is set to max. Ideally, the issue should be fixed at this point with the Lost ARK audio issues.
- Reconnect Your Output Device
Sometimes, it is not the game but your output device that is behind this problem. So, instead of reinstalling the game, try to check the status on your output device. Simply removing the output device and connecting it again should do the trick most of the time.
- Enable Admin Permissions
The admin permission is the next thing that you need to check when the audio is lagging in your game. You just have to browse towards the game folder and open up the executable game file. From there, just right-click on the file and head over to the compatibility tab. Here you can check the option marked as admin permissions, and that will get everything in order.
- Check For Driver Updates
At this stage, you should just check for driver updates. If you’ve yet to manage the audio drivers, now might be a great time to clean and install them on your PC. You can remove the current drivers and then reboot the system. Windows will download the latest versions of these audio drivers for you, and you won’t have to bother with more fixes.
- Make Sure You’re Not Missing Any Files
Verifying game files is another decent method of downloading all the missing files back onto your PC. You can rely on the Steam client for this process. Just launch the client and proceed to the Lost ARK title in your library. From there, right-click on this title and click on properties. This will open up a configurations menu, and you can switch to the local tab to select the file verification routine.
The size of the game is pretty significant, and it will take a while for the game files to go through the verification process. Once the verification is complete, Steam will download all the missing files for you, and you can launch the game one more time. Hopefully, this time around, you won’t have to worry as much about Lost ARK audio issues.
