Fixing Destiny 2 Character Not Rendering
- Check Your Graphics Card
Open a Device Manager by pressing the Windows key and typing Device Manager. Expand Display Adapters and select your graphics card. Click on Driver, then Update Driver, then proceed through restarting your computer, and press Yes when it asks you to do so. If this does not work, go back to step one and repeat this process.
- Verify Integrity of The Game
Your game files might have been corrupted, or you may need an update. In either case, try verifying your game files by right-clicking on Destiny 2 in your Library, then clicking on Properties, and choosing the tab marked Local Files. Locate the file titled _CACHE_.zip in this folder and select it before clicking Verify Integrity of Game Cache. Once complete, click Close and then quit Destiny 2. - Check GPU Thermals
Investigate your GPU’s thermals – Overheating GPUs can lead to this problem.
