1. Update Dark Core Firmware of the Mouse
As we know, the Corsair Harpoon RGB has wireless connectivity issues. Thus, if you are also a user of the Corsair Harpoon and face the same issue of wireless connection then you need to update the dark core firmware of the mouse. To update the dark core firmware, you need to follow a few steps which are mentioned below.
- Try plugging in your USB dongle to any of the computer’s available USB port.
- Using the USB cable, connect your mouse to the computer.
- On the other side of the mouse, you should be able to find switches for turning your device “On” and switching to 2.4GHz.
- Launch iCUE and choose Settings which should be on the top part of the window.
- Under the menu bar, navigate to the mouse button.
- You should be able to find an option to “Update” right under Firmware Version.
- A prompt will pop up after you have installed the whole update. Click Ok or Yes to continue.
- Now, first, disconnect your mouse from the USB cable as well as turn the switch “Off” from your mouse.
- Unplug your USB cable and the dongle from your computer.
- Simply plug your USB dongle into the PC.
- Finally, turn your mouse on by flipping the switch.
