1. Checking For Updates
Before you start troubleshooting, it’s important to make sure that your game is up-to-date. 2. Restarting Your PS4

4. Checking For Hardware Problems
The first thing you should do when troubleshooting a controller that disconnects is to check for hardware problems. You can do this by unplugging the controller from the console and then plugging it back in. If the problem persists, try using a different controller. If you don’t have another controller, you can try resetting the controller by holding down the Xbox button for 10 seconds.
5. Changing Your Network Settings
Many times, controller disconnected errors are caused by network issues. To fix this, you can try changing your network settings. First, check your NAT type and make sure it’s set to Open. If it’s not, change it and see if that solves the problem.
- Second, try connecting to a different server. If you’re able to connect and play without any issues, then the problem is most likely with the server you were originally trying to connect to.

6. Factory Resetting The Game Console
One way to try and fix this issue is by factory resetting the game console. This will delete all data on the console and revert it back to its original state.
