Spongebob Tower Defense is a dynamic Tower Defense game on Roblox, inspired by the famous SpongeBob SquarePants series. Miraj Works Studio created it with Superior in partnership under the Roblox-group called Krabby Krew. Nickelodeon officially allowed the game so it offers real experience of SpongeBob SquarePants.
The launch happened on December 21st 2024.
About Spongebob Tower Defense
In the game, the main target is to protect Bikini Bottom. With SpongeBob, Patrick and the whole team, players join to resist attacks of enemies. Heroes from legends and wild opponents show up, while players use great skills.
Because it is a multiplayer-game, playing together with friends forms the core of the fun.
The units form the main mode to beat oppoennts. They are little defensive copies of the characters from SpongeBob SquarePants. Each has own prices, values, kinds of attack and levels of rarity.
Some units even have separate talents. Ranking sorts them by force, starting chance and benefit. Choosing the right units is key.
Players mostly get towers, later combine food or globes to strengthen them, and finally try to find the rarest versions. AFK-area is also available. The game has a high level of creation and captures the style and mood of SpongeBob.
But the balance sometimes is tough. Play memories are tricky, and some stats of towers do not work as players expect.
In Spongebob Tower Defense, codes play a big role. They provide free prizes like gems, XP, pulls and arks. Among past codes were EXOTICMANIABBY for 15 Exotic Arks, ADMINPRED for 10 Admin-Arks 2.0 and GEMGOD for 2 millions of gems.
Sadly, all codes currently no longer count. To find fresh codes, the too main places are the X-account of WonderWorksRB and the Roblox-group Krabby Krew, although one must scroll through random messages here.
The competitive side of the game can get very strong. Leaderboard grinding is severe. Some players dedicated 30 days without stopping to get the Olympian SpongeBob.
One player, who worked the whole 30 days including dealing with random disconnects, lost more than 30 positions on the league in only one minute.
Around the game lives an active community. Spongebob Tower Defense Wiki describes updates and change logs. Forums serve to exchange advice, ask questions, show units and askabout coming improvements.
Also there is a Discord-server with more than 206,000 members and everyday gifts. The game promises steady updates and multiplayer-fun during 2025.
