Pro Tip: For Commander decks, prioritize ramp spells (Sol Ring, Cultivate) over extra lands — each ramp piece can replace 0.5 lands. For 60-card aggro, running 20 lands with 4+ one-drops is viable. Use scry and cantrips to smooth draws without adding extra lands.

Magic the Gathering, usually simply called Magic or MTG, came from the creation of Richard Garfield. The game appeared from the hands of Wizards of the Coast in 1993 as the first trading card game of that company. Thanks to that, it became the most liked trading card game globally.

Arena added also Best-of-Three after its first launch. Magic Online offers another digital option, by means of that players gather cards, form decks and fight according to his own rhythm.

2026 promises to be a unique year, with record seven main sets appearing before the year end. The Universes Beyond collaborations make big news. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles expansion will start in March, while the Marvel’s Spider-Man set is planned for June.
