Dark Souls is a video game of role-play from 2011, created by FromSoftware and issued by Namco Bandai Games. Hidetaka Miyazaki led its creation and it acts as spiritual follow-up of Demon’s Souls, and it opens the series Dark Souls. Later appeared two sequels: Dark Souls II in 2014 and Dark Souls III in 2016.
One launched it for computers, PlayStation 3 and 4, Xbox 360 and One, and later for Nintendo Switch in improved form.
Dark Souls 2011 — The Game and Its Remaster
Like Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls 1 offers play from third person with exploring of mazes and combat precise and fast. The players design their player, choose class and walk in a kingdom without hope, where rule undead terrors, howling monsters and knights in fierce clothing. This title ranks between the most hard games existing.
The challenges right away excite, but they give big joy, and because of that the whole series connects with gross effort.
In Dark Souls 1 the player plays as Chosen Undead, that flees from prison and goes to Lordran. The main task is made up of ringing the Bells while one destroys dangerous opponents. The Chosen Undead must link to the flame of the First Fire to extend the Age of Fire.
During the way, one finds that the player does not walk alone.
The hostile areas are drawn very well, because they mostly answer for ambushes. Like this they bring fresh ways too meet opponents, even if one already fought against them before many times. The regions do not stress only filling until the main opponent.
In other words, one lays weight on getting through it by means of few resources and perfect learning of the path and of the struggle. Here the history and the patterns reach their highest level. The game shines by means of good music, nice look, well done levels and Build of the world.
The followers love the lore, the mythology and the need to count everything yourself, without someone saying what to do, that forms the core of the enjoyment.
That game shows sharp curve for learning. It punishes strongly those, that do not get used to games of extreme kind. Even so, staying with it quite a lot long leads to real satisfaction.
Dark Souls Remastered delivers visual improvement of the first release from 2011. It carries the main part together with the add-on Artorias of the Abyss. This remastered version runs in high quality in 60 images per second, with option to choose 4K resolution.
It well uses the options of the Nintendo Switch for portable play, what gives a slightly different feeling, that surprisingly revives. This remaster one praised because of updated lights and visual looks, although all agreed, that it does not bring big changes to attract those, that already has the original. The remastered release is less trouble than taking the PC version original with changes, and it offers more online activity.
The struggle with Artorias ranks between the best and most hard in thewhole game. Here even so, the PvP commonly becomes festive rematches, so well know that. The first PC version had problems, as being confined to resolution 1024×720 without payment.
