Set in the Titanfall universe, the place not only gives its base gamers nostalgia but a sense of all the wonderful things to come. Although Apex Legends is free to play, it relies heavily on microtransactions and looting to make money. Just like in the world of battle royale, you are dropped from an airship and your only goal is to scavenge resources and be the last one standing. Unlike other battle royales, in Apex Legends you can play 1 of 8 characters each with their own set of skills and powers.
This feature only makes the gameplay more fun and interactive with the character you chose. Apex Legend is known for its high-paced gameplay with each round lasting between 20 to 30 minutes. While you’re having so much fun playing and making your way to the end, you only end up playing round after round.
Core Item Already Owned In Apex Legends
Although the game is totally free to play, Apex Legends relies heavily on in-game microtransaction which players can use to buy Apex Coins and Apex Packs. Apex Packs are loot boxes that contain your player’s customization, banners, weapon camos, and skins. This creates a marketplace for rare Packs that the players can either trade between themselves or play with. Apex Legends in the end relies heavily on marketing these packs to the players.
While you have the option to go and spend money with the in-game purchases, you also win items when based on your matches won and the level-ups you get during the game. With each prize you get a featured stock of items you can use while playing the game, they could be anything from a customized character skin to camo for your weapon.
With the immense success of Apex Legends, the game can sometimes run into problems or bugs that make playing a little annoying. One of the reason problems the players are facing is the players are unable to buy Packs when they have one of the core items already. As explained earlier that throughout the game you end up winning loot or prizes of items that feature what you might otherwise buy in a pack.
If you do end up getting your hands on one of the items the game prohibits you from buying the Pack if the item is a core item of the pack. This means you already own the core item and you can no longer buy the rest of the pack. Although we talked about bugs in the game, this is actually on part of the developers from Respawn and they have no plans on changing this feature in the near future. If you still wish to get the pack then you would need to give that core item up so you can buy it again as part of the pack.
