Use moving averages: Update gain, loss, and win rate from your last 20 to 40 ranked games so the estimate follows your real matchmaking instead of one lucky streak.
Plan around net LP: A higher win rate is powerful, but reducing average loss by dodging bad queues, stopping after tilt losses, or tightening picks can shorten the climb just as much.
