The Growtopia planner are a tool that will help you to plan your character progress through the game. The Growtopia planner can help to bridge the gap between the feeling of productivity and actual in-game progress. The Growtopia planner is particularly useful in that many players dont realize how wide the gap is between the two before they encounter it; the Growtopia planner helps to narrow that gap.
To use the Growtopia planner, the player must first make the selection of their role within the game. Each role contribute to the games leveling and gem indicators at different rates. For example, a player that selects the farmer role has the potential to level and earn gems at a more fast rate than a player that selects the builder role.
How to Use the Growtopia Planner
Following the selection of role is the selection of an activity tier. Each activity tier will provide some amount of experience and gems for the player each day. Following the determination of role, activity tier, and the player’s input of the number of minutes that the player intends to play each day, the Growtopia planner can display its main function.
The Growtopia planner will calculate the player’s potential daily experience, daily gem gains, the projected timeline for the player to reach there target level, and provide a readiness score. This readiness score is calculated as a number that considers the players role, their comfort in the required equipment, and whether or not their in-game activities helps them reach their target level. Additionally, the Growtopia planner also displays a role comparison grid that displays the differences between the available game roles in terms of their main stats, required equipment, and their target level.
Other tables included in the Growtopia planner include the activity baseline, which displays the type of farmable blocks that provides experience and those that provide gems. The equipment map illustrates why punch comfort provides benefit to farmers more more than surgeons, and why a focus on gathering gems may reduce the amount of experience that a player earns from their activities. Finally, the level bands in the Growtopia planner provide players with information regarding the types of activities that is required at each level; early levels require players to experiment with the games features, but later levels require the players to complete certain activities in batch group.
The Growtopia planner should of been used each week to monitor the players abilities. It is recommended that the player runs the planner at the start of the week, but also again after playing for a few days with the Growtopia planner. By running the planner again after several days of gameplay, the player can monitor their fatigue and any change to their leveling or gem gains.
Small adjustments to the player’s activities may reveal shifts in their potential leveling and gem gain. Some of the mistakes that players make when using the Growtopia planner include establishing an ambitious target level yet playing for less minutes each day. Additionally, another mistake is to select only one activity to perform for extended periods of time without rotating activities; fatigue will begin to affect the players ability to earn an amount of experience and gems that they may otherwise earn.
Yet another mistake is to treat activities like surgery or Startopia as if they is separate from the Growtopia planner, and ignoring their readiness score. The Growtopia planner makes these mistakes visible by calculating a readiness score for each target level. For those who desire to improve the most quickly within the game, it is best to have one main target level with a smaller target level as a backup plan.
In case where a player feels that their main target level may be too high, the Growtopia planner will suggest adjusting their activities to improve their main target level. While the Growtopia planner is an essential tool within Growtopia, it cannot account for server event or changes to the schedule that the player makes for their in-game character. Thus, the Growtopia planner is a planning tool that can help to players to establish rhythm for their daily gameplay.
