FL4K is one of the character in the game Borderlands 3. To make an efective FL4K, a player must understand how to best assign skill point and which pet to use with FL4K. Often, player will find it difficult to make the perfect FL4K due to the trade-offs that must be made with each skill.
For example, choosing one strength for FL4K will mean sacrificing another strength. Furthermore, planning FL4K’s skill points is crucial because choosing the wrong skill points will mean that FL4K will either be unable to kill the boss or will not be able to survive against numerous enemy. How to Build a Good FL4K

The Stalker tree will provide bonuses to health regeneration and ambushes, which is beneficial for players who want to survive lengthy battle with numerous enemies.
The last tree is the Master tree, which provides bonuses to FL4K’s pet. Using this tree will allow the pet to do more damage for FL4K and draw the enemies attention away from FL4K. However, spreading the skill points too thin across these three trees will mean FL4K will not be strong in any area.
The player also has to choose the right pet for FL4K. Each pet will change the function of FL4K’s build. For example, using a Loader bot as FL4K’s pet will provide extra defense for FL4K since the Loader bot can take many hit.
Thus, using this pet will work best for FL4Ks who have chosen the Master tree for their skill. Another pet to use is a Jabber that will increase the critical hit damage that FL4K does with their gun. Using this pet will work best for FL4Ks that have chosen the Hunter skill tree.
Another pet choice is a Countess that will provide more durability for FL4K’s pet. Using this pet will allow FL4K’s pet to last longer in the game. However, each pet isnt the same and will have different bonus for FL4K’s build.
FL4K has three different action skills during gameplay. The Fade Away skill will require FL4K to land critical hit on the enemies. To use this skill, FL4K will have to invest in the Hunter skill tree to gain critical hit chance.
The Rakk Attack skill will provide FL4K with a short cooldown on their action skill, which player can use to fight numerous enemies. Another skill is the Gamma Burst skill, which will connect FL4K to their pet. This skill can be beneficial for FL4Ks who want to have a good balance between the pet and FL4K’s survival.
However, maintaining a high critical hit chance and high uptime of skill will ensure that FL4K does not take too much damage. FL4K can be leveled up to 70. The skill points that FL4K gain will allow FL4K to progress through the level.
Players should focus on one skill tree at the beginning of FL4K’s level progression. Furthermore, leveling up FL4K too soon and investing in all the skill points at once will allow FL4K to change their skill if they feel a particular skill tree is not working for them. Additionally, FL4K has Guardian rank and class mods that will also provide bonuses to FL4K’s damage output by 10 to 15 percent without investing in their skill trees.
Anointments will also provide FL4K with further power for their action skills. A common mistake that FL4K makes is focusing too much on cooldowns for their action skills. However, cooldowns will be more useful later on in the game when FL4K has mastered their skill.
Instead, FL4K should focus on direct damage skill when they first begin playing the game. Another common mistake is ignoring the survivability of FL4K. Survivability is not just about the health bar that FL4K has.
FL4K could use the Stalker skill tree for healing, the Master tree to give the pet the chance to take the enemies’ attention, and use Mayhem adjustments so FL4K will not die too quick. Ensure that FL4K has a high score in their stats before attempting any of the difficult Mayhem tier. If FL4K has a low score for their stats, they will die too often.
Finally, it is up to the individual what type of FL4K they want to make. Some may prefer the strength of doing significant damage on the bosses. Others may prefer having FL4K kill numerous enemy at once.
Use the established paths for their skill trees but adjust the skill points according to the way FL4K play the game. By finding the perfect balance between the damage that FL4K and their pet do and the survivability of FL4K, they will be able to play through the most difficult content with FL4K.
