Plan vigor, endurance, scaling, and soul level targets for Dark Souls 3 without guessing where your points should go.

📋Quick Presets
Build Inputs
DS3 rule: each starting class has a different soul level and baseline stats. The calculator clamps below-base inputs to the class minimum so the budget stays valid.
Knight starts sturdy and flexible for melee hybrids.
Balanced quality targets 40 Strength and 40 Dexterity.
Use 120 to 125 for a common endgame band.
Weapon scaling changes which stats matter most after 40.
This is the weight of your weapon, armor, and rings.
Use a target poise number if you want trading comfort.

💡Practical Tips
Vigor first: pushing HP early gives more room for mistakes, and it usually matters more than squeezing one extra damage stat point.
Weapon match: use the scaling map to see whether your build should lean into Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Faith, or Luck.

Stats in Dark Souls III are number values that define the physical and mental attributes of every character. They, short for statistics, are a general word for all measurable data about a character of Dark Souls III. Basic attributes form the foundation of all stats and understanding them matters for creating an effective build

In the game Vigor is the most useful stat and skipping it is a bad idea. Early in the game, putting points in Vigor for more HP and Endurance for stamina really helps to improve survival. Every build requires some points in those two values.

Easy Guide to Dark Souls III Stats

Even so Vigor has some tricky spots. Each character should have at least 17 Vigor, after that comes the 26th spot. At 27 and 28 happens a big drop in value, but it stays steady until 44, after which the drop really starts.

The soft cap is the level where output drops, and it is usually at 40 for most stats. For instance, for Endurance with a soft cap at 40, raising it to 41 or more gives less stamina per point. Intelligence and Faith seem to have second caps at 60.

For a tanky build based on defence, maximizing Strength really helps. The defence grows past 40, when Strength reaches that level, and seems to keep going even later.

Dexterity expands the damage of various weapons like daggers, bows and light swords. It is the main stat for an archer or fast attack build. Early reach 40 Strength works well, because two-handing happens at 26 to 27 Strength and frees up points for other values.

During the first play, putting Strength to 30 and Dexterity to 20 lets you try different weapons. It is possible to reset stats a limited number of times during play.

Luck is an interesting stat. It helps poison builds and poison infusions. Also it expands damage of Hollow weapons, as well as speed of bleed and poison build-up.

Luck also boosts the damage of Anri’s Straight Sword, which stays among the most powerful weapons in the game, even after FromSoft nerfed luck builds.

Attunement determines how many spells you can equip. Not all spells need the same amount of slots. Characters with buffs only need four slots, while casters want six.

Stats also give passive bonuses to defence. A character with all soft caps reached will be around Level 395, depending on the starting class. If each stat is at the hard cap of 99, you reach around Level 800, although that is entirely excessive.

Before spending souls, checking the impacts on equipped weapons is a smartmove.
