The team at Board Studios, that stands behind THE FINALS, created this game in third person about extraction shooting that appeared in 2025 for PlayStation 5, Windows and Xbox Series X/S.

Arc Raiders: Fight Machines and Collect Loot
You have freedom about how to access the missions. Go alone or with a team of two or three friends. The basic mechanic stays simple: fight your way through the surface, gather precious resources and successfully exit alive.

What pushes arc raiders apart from the competition is something entirely basic. It is a polished shooting game in third person, and honestly, such are not many currently. While you play most extraction games, you simply are a pair of arms that shakes with a gun.
Here you feel your full body… You steal, climb and push threw walls and scenes. This alone feature changes the whole feel of the game.
The rhythm of the game shifts between two places. Up, the surface belongs to those deadly machines. Below lies Speranza, a secret base where the raiders meet.
Here you craft, fix and improve your gear. It is not the most difficult system to learn that you will find, but it correctly feels good. The game mixes tension of extraction shooting with easily accessible progress, and genuinely it shines through the social elements.
Everything helps to push it apart from other games in the genre (more accessible), sure, yet full in depth. The style urges you enjoy rather than stress over too complicated mechanics.
The balance between risks and prizes hits exactly the right place. Dying does not feel disastrous, as in Tarkov. On the other hand, the stakes during PvP-fights are real, especially when groups clash because of zones with precious loot.
You find yourself between two threats: machines of ARCH and other players, that hunt the same resources. This tensioncarries the whole experience.
The players reacted surprisingly well. Arc raiders reached more than 459 000 simultaneous players on Steam, and it not even is free to play. The artistic style and sound side feels genuinely unique, with excellent rhythm and maps shaped as wells.
The artificial intelligence acts wild, PvP-encounters are intense, and the extraction shooting games clearly have a new flag to follow. Even the solo mode stands as something new in the genre. The update Concealed Sky brought new content and upper quality-of-life improvements, that keeps the push living.
