What are edpi? It is short for effective dots per inch, and simply it mixes your mouse DPI with the sensitivity in cs2 during game. The math itself is easy, simply multiply your DPI by the number of sensitivity.
What is edpi and how to choose it

In FPS games edpi is what genuinely matters for professionals. DPI can affect in other kinds of games, but in competitive shooter games like cs2, Valorant and Apex Legends, edpi decides the accuracy. It is the main value that determines how you aim and react.

One also commonly sees folks changing there DPI while they keep the edpi the same. Say, if you go from 400 DPI to 800 DPI, you should drop the sensitivity to around 1.15 to keep everything the same.
edpi at 8000 is way above what any would call fair. Many players find that around 900 edpi and being able to turn a full 360 on the mousepad is a good base to workfrom. The simple method is choose your basic DPI first, maybe 400, 800 or 1600, then set the sensitivity in game to reach that edpi range.
