Xbox Series X: Fast 4K Console with More Power and Storage
The Xbox Series X and the Xbox Series S form the fourth generation in the Xbox family of Microsoft. They followed the Xbox One. Both consoles appeared November 10th 2020, and they belong to the ninth generation of video game devices.
The Series X represents the fancier variant, next to the simpler Series S. The Series S is entirely digital and comes with 1 TB SSD in black carobn version.
Big advantage is the so-called Xbox Velocity Architecture. It ensures faster times for loading and lets players switch between several games without pause by means of Quick Resume. So one can always enter the game right wear, where one left, without having to wait through long loading screens.
It also gives the game worlds more alive and smooth feeling.
The Series X works with thousands of games from four Xbox generations. Smart Delivery is another new feature. By means of Smart Delivery, once bought digital game gives you the best version for any console, on which you play.
There is also a purely digital version of the Series X, that entirely lacks a disc drive.
The Series X beats the Series S by means of 16 GB RAM, while that has 12 GB. Because of that difference, some games like Baldur’s Gate 3 do not support shared screen on the Series S. The Series S lacks a disc drive, which matters for folks, that still like physical game discs.
The Series X has a strong build with good cooling system. It runs quietly and well. The bigger storage compared to the Series S makes a real difference.
Playing older compatible games, that only come on discs, is another benefit of the Series X compared to its smaller brother.
Games like Mortal Kombat 11 look even more great on the Series X itself, running in 4K quality with extra graphical details. The platform offers also free games, and although many store optional purchases like seasonal passes, one gets a lot of value already from the start without expense. Based 2 is currently available only for Xbox users on Series X and S, although it stays in early access.
One can reach the Steam library by means of GeForce Now using the Microsoft Edge browser onthe Xbox Series X.
