If you talk about the scene of damage calculators for Pokémon VGC, then Nerd of Now almost matches it. The program started as the official calculator of Nugget Bridge during 2015 until 2016. After some years one adapted it for Trainer Tower in 2017.
The Story of the Nerd of Now Pokémon Damage Calculator
When Trainer Tower disappeared from the net, the calculator moved to Nimbasa City Post in 2021, where it operates quietly until today. Through all those changes, Nerd of Now stayed the main person, that cared about its life and improved its features.
The history really is a bit more detailed, if one digs into it. The calculator did not come from nothing, it was an unofficial copy of the version of Trainer Tower, that itself came from the original at Nugget Bridge. Already in 2020, Nerd of Now joined back the version of Trainer Tower.
After the closing of that website, the whole project moved to Nimbasa City Post, where it found its lasting base.

Known in the community as Nerd of Now, reported about the whole work for simplifying the calculators. The tool spread through various VGC communities, and one can find its code at the page of Nerd of Now on GitHub.
On GitHub, Nerd of Now has four different repos, that anyone can look threw freely. The development of the code was a group effort, with help of squirrelboyVGC at various moments over time.
Competitive players, that use that calculator, usually take EV values from sites like Pikalytics and enter them manually to build their damage amounts. On the other hand, there was a bit of real confusion about whether the calculator really handles Terastallized Pokémon (find that button), if it is there, it does not seem entirely natural.
One can trace the history of the tool quite clearly. Nugget Bridge fed into Trainer Tower, that in turn fed into Nimbasa City Post. Every version built on the base of the prior.
It really shows well, how projects moved by the community survive and stay active even when their first home disappears. Some walk forward, grab the torch and care, that everything lasts.
The community of VGC fully depends on such tools to prepare for contests. While you form teams and plan tactics, having precise damagetools can really decide everything. That calculator fills that role, and that counted through many formats and eras.
It stays usable, because it always updates for every new season of contest.
