League of Legends is made up of team-based fights in an arena, usually called MOBA. Riot Games created it in 2009, and it stays fully free to play. In the game there are more than 140 champions to choose and each of them owns their own set of special skills.
The players lead their champion from a top-down view during the matches. In the game, the champions progress in levels by means of gaining experience points, thanks to beating of opponents.
What is League of Legends?
That game ranks between the most popular games globally, with almost 100 millions of folks playing monthly. The genre originally came from a mod for Warcraft 3, called DotA, which stands for Defence of the Ancient. Because of that background, folks sometimes call games like League of Legends by the “DotA-alike” label.

Riot Games produced also other titles in the same world, between that VALORANT, Teamfight Tactics, Legends of Runeterra and Wild Rift. The official forums of League of Legends closed in March 2020, when their usage dropped. Players and partners transferred to websites like Reddit or Discord. Years before, one replaced the original forums with those Boards, that grew into a place for great discussions, funny messages and famous community posts.
Reddit currently acts as the maincentre for discussions about the game, updates and tactical change.
