Meeting mokhaiotl, known also as Bone-Ayak… You find a huge demonic chief similar to an insect, that appeared in Old School RuneScape as the first boss of doom in the game. It fell during the quest The Final Dawn and now rests in a deep cavity in the Ruins of mokhaiotl namely in a cave called Tonali Cavern, that rests under the Tlati Rainforest.
This fight is strictly for one player. It ranks between the most mighty end-game bosses, that OSRS offers, and requires fast reflexes together with real skill to beat it. Here what makes it especially difficult: every time, when you win, the boss sinks more deeply in his place and reappears even stronger.
Mokhaiotl: A Very Hard One-Player Boss Fight
Like this the challenges and prizes both grow, while you progress through levels of doom, until level 8 at least.
To reach it down here, you can escape a lot of trouble, if you know the secret. West of the lift platform, that carries two old teleports, stands a chest. If you lay the first one or two floors north of the elevator and leave the second without moving beside the door, you jump past a tunnel, that would force you to race aroudn, thus escape the stressful delay to feed.
When the struggle starts truly, the Ruin casts random stomps to random places in the arena. After a short pause it sends a wave through the whole arena, that prayer can not stop, you simply do not have a place too hide. In higher levels of doom, as 8, the spiral of fights speeds up quickly.
The random stomps now appear during the boss at the same time launching average attacks and double stones against you, forcing you to handle several dangers at once.
The hit zone of the boss truly annoys. Not only during the Ruin raises his shield, but sometimes the bug appears even during the normal life of it. The weapon becomes unclear, with taps, that simply do not land even if you time them well.
The server lags cause years of pain, with commands, that sometimes do not work despite your best timing.
Fully understanding the tactical rhythm does level 8 of doom actually reachable. The struggle intends to be rough and hard as end-game content, so do not hope, that each will beat the upper levels without a lot of practice. If you take the reward stones after every attempt, you can reach around 6 finishes per hour through levels 1 until 8.
If you switch to burn-imperfect prayer, that number drops to almost 5 per hour.
The list of reward stones carries great drops as the Avernic, cloth pieces and the Eye of Ayak. Players heard talk about values of drops, that maybe work strange after some update. There is talk about adding the Hellfire Ring and its upgrade, the Dragon Forges Circuit, as possible step prizes for magic.
The combat achievements regarding mokhaiotl already are in the game. Truly, this boss could rank between the best one-player contents, that one has, butthose annoying technical problems stop it reaching that potential.
